WebbTHe rule of thumb is that the lowest shutter speed for handheld photography is the inverse of the lens’ focal length. So, for a 50mm lens, the minimum speed would be 1/50 s. IMHO, this depends a lot on the photographer and the subject. I can shoot very well handheld at about 1/30 s if I’m shooting a stationary subject.
